After twenty-two months writing and editing, forty-nine drafts and over eighty-three thousand words, my third novel, The Return Policy, has been published. The inspiration for the novel came partially from my own experience of seeing dearly departed loved ones in my dreams, and partially, from accounts from the gravely ill who see long departed family members appear at their side – the inference being that there loved one has come to collect them. The Return Policy contains some emotive topics and I took my time to balance drama with sensitivity. Having said all this, The Return Policy is definitely a Romance.
